Description
The South African Air Force (SAAF) operates 60 Pilatus PC-7 MkII “Astra” turboprop aircraft, delivered between 1994 and 2006. Serving as the primary ab-initio military trainer at the Air Force Base Langebaanweg, it is also famously flown by the SAAF’s Silver Falcons aerobatic display team.
