Description
The Tank Cruiser Cromwell was developed during World War II by the British Army to replace the Crusader as the Crusader. The Cromwell was characterized by a very high speed, which could reach over 60 km/h, and a great maneuverability. The speed, often limited in order not to over-immate the mechanics of the wagon and in particular its suspension, was however combined with a decent armor and a good armament. The 75 mm main piece mounted in the turret was in fact quite powerful in the clashes against similar armored vehicles and could employ the same ammunition of other Allied wagons such as the U.S. Sherman. Cromwell also played the effective role of close support to the infantry. What’s in the Box: 1x Italeri 1/56 Cromwell Mk. IV
