The GT5888 is the perfect entry level coaxial RC Helicopter at a very affordable price. It is a 4 channel heli with swash plate and built in GYRO, making it easy enough to fly for any person within a couple of minutes.
The flight characteristics are fantastic and it realistically mimics the flight of a real life helicopter. It also has a High (H) / Low (L) setting on the 2.4GHz transmitter, allowing for mild mannered handling, or a somewhat more aggressive approach, which will soon be your favourite setting! It is very manoeuvrable and nimble, making it a solid foundation for later stepping up to bigger or scale model flying.

The all round built quality is superb and the GT5888 has proved itself to be “bullet proof” (within reason naturally), but it can certainly take a lot of abuse without complaint and still fly beautifully. The main rotor blades are constructed from a durable plastic compound, which does not crack and splinter apart in even the worst of crashes. In fact, one wonders why they even bother to supply you the spare blades with the heli?
